Our accessibility approach

We aim to make this website meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Accessibility is part of how we consider page structure, navigation, text, images, forms and interaction.

Our approach also recognises the duty to make reasonable adjustments under the Equality Act 2010 and, where applicable, the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 in Northern Ireland.

Using this website

The website includes a skip link to the main content, visible keyboard focus, descriptive page headings and labelled form fields. The main navigation uses separate links and submenu buttons, so you can open a page without first opening its dropdown.

  • Use Tab and Shift + Tab to move between links and controls.
  • Use Enter to follow a link, or Enter or Space to activate a submenu button.
  • Use Escape to close an open submenu. On mobile, a further Escape closes the main navigation.
  • Use your browser’s zoom and text settings to enlarge the content.

Service information and contact details are available as text, so you do not need to use a map to make an enquiry.

Checks completed and current limitations

On 23 October 2026, we checked shared navigation, sample page layouts, keyboard interaction, mobile navigation and text enlarged to 200%. Automated accessibility checks were also used for the shared header.

These checks cover selected pages and interactions. A complete independent assessment of every page, document and assistive technology combination has not been completed, so we do not claim that every part of the website fully conforms to WCAG 2.2 AA.

Older articles, images of example websites and components supplied by other providers need continuing review. Maps, embedded media and form spam protection may behave differently with different browsers or assistive technologies. If any feature prevents you from accessing information or contacting us, please use the alternative contact options below.

Request information or report a problem

Call 0333 090 9138 or use our contact form to ask for help. If the form or its spam protection is difficult to use, please call us instead.

Please include the page address, what you were trying to do and the difficulty you experienced. If you can, tell us the browser, device or assistive technology involved. Let us know your preferred way to receive a response and whether a different format would help. You do not need to share a diagnosis or other unnecessary medical information.

We will consider the barrier, discuss a suitable way to provide the information or service and explain the next steps. If you are unhappy with the response, ask for the matter to be reviewed by the management of Giraffe Hosting Limited.

Keeping accessibility under review

We will use reported problems and further checks to guide improvements. When content or interactive features change, accessibility should be considered alongside design and functionality.

For client projects, the required standard, testing scope, third-party features and responsibilities should be agreed in the project brief. Read About Giraffe Digital or explore our website design services to discuss a project.

Accessibility: your questions

Can I contact you without using the online form?

Yes. Call 0333 090 9138 if a form or its spam protection is difficult to use. You can discuss the information you need and any accessibility support that would help.

Does this website claim full WCAG 2.2 AA compliance?

Our target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. The checks completed so far are described on this page, but they are not a complete independent assessment of every page and assistive technology combination.

What should I include in an accessibility report?

Include the page address, the task you were trying to complete and the barrier you encountered. Browser, device and assistive technology details can help us investigate, but you do not need to provide medical information.
